Community Builders: Body Parts

Contributed by: Charlie Baker, Diocese of Auckland

bodypartsSAsk your group, “If you were a part of the body, which part would you be and why?”

Hand out sheets of newspaper or A3 paper, and scissors. Invite them to cut out the shape of their chosen body part from the paper. Then get them to share it with the group, explaining what part they are and why.
For example, “I am a funny bone because I like making people laugh” or “I am a thumb because I’m quite flexible, and with me, lots of things get done.”

This is a great ‘get to know you’ activity, and works well for team building or teaching on the Body of Christ.
