Icebreakers: Paint Race

Contributed by: Belle Tregoweth, Diocese of Auckland

paintraceChallenge your youth to a paint race!

You’ll need drinking straws, a large sheet of paper, and some water-based paint in different colours (one colour per participant). Thin out the paint with water, so that it will move across the page when blown with the straw. The thicker the paint is, the harder the race will be.

Put blobs of each paint colour on the edge of the paper and give each person a straw. Their challenge is to be the first to blow a line of paint from one side of the paper to the other.

Check out St Aidans Youth on Instagram to see their paint race in action.
