Mark #4: Seek to transform unjust structures of society, challenge violence of every kind, and pursue peace and reconciliation
The fourth Mark of Mission is to seek to transform unjust structures of society, challenge violence of every kind, and pursue peace and reconciliation. It’s standing up for others – for social justice, for peace and for transformed communities.
The projects you choose for this Mark will help you learn more about social justice issues. You’ll also take steps to help your church and community to stand up for those without a voice.
“My love for social justice grew through [The Faith Project]; it taught me the practicalities of bringing about God’s plan on earth, being someone of action instead of just word.” – Kristy
