Who we are

We are a national Anglican youth network in Aotearoa.

Vision statement

To nurture, equip and encourage those in Anglican churches and parishes who walk with young people and to build strong networks with those doing this vital ministry and mahi.

Our team

Lorna Gray

National Youth Facilitator

As a nurse, seeing young people struggle and not being able to share Jesus didn't make sense so I retrained as a youth pastor. I am now a priest. As well being in my local setting I have the privilege of working nationally to encourage and build strong youth ministry.

Sami Smart

National Youth Administrator

I studied a Bachelor of Youth Development, working as a youth pastor before pausing to raise my family. Now using my gifts in administration to support the amazing mahi happening around the motu whilst still being involved in raising my own four tamariki.

Anglican Church

Three Tikanga

We are part of the Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.

Our Church has three partners joining together so each partner can run in a way that best suits their own cultural context: Tikanga Māori, Tikanga Pākehā and Tikanga Polynesia.

Each tikanga sets up youth ministry in a way that works best for them.
