Prayer Warriors
Prayer Warriors will send out regular newsletters containing prayer points for National Youth, dioceses, local churches, youth leaders, young people, and their families.
It will also provide a way for communities across the country to submit prayer requests, allowing us to support one another through the power of prayer.
Throughout Scripture, we see that God's people are called to stand together in prayer. Isaiah reminds us that:
"Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:30–31
Why the need for Prayer Warriors?
As many of you know, this is a season of significant transition across our Church. Nationally and within our dioceses, leadership is changing, ministries are evolving, and communities are discerning what God is calling them into next.
At the same time, the need for youth ministry has never been greater.
Our young people are navigating an increasingly complex world. Many face challenges around mental health, identity, loneliness, family pressures, and uncertainty about the future. Youth leaders and churches continue to faithfully walk alongside them, but they cannot do this work alone
It is with this hope that we are launching Prayer Warriors — a new Anglican Youth initiative dedicated to covering our young people and those who minister to them in intentional, regular prayer.
How can I be involved?
You can get involved by:
Joining the Prayer Warriors mailing list to receive regular prayer updates.
Submitting prayer requests for your church, youth group, ministry, or community.
Sharing Prayer Warriors with others who have a heart for supporting young people through prayer. Either via displaying the poster, sending them the link to sign up or this page on our website.
Together, we can stand in the gap for this generation, trusting that God is at work in the lives of our young people and those who serve them.
